Mmmm….who can resist the smell of bacon? Greener Leith is dishing up a reward for local commuters on Tuesday 21st April when that irresistable smell will signal a free breakfast for healthy souls cycling or walking to work. Look out for free bacon rolls, bags and bike maintenance on offer on the Water of Leith Walkway beneath the Great Junction Road bridge. What do you mean it’s not healthy?
Ally Tibbitt of Greener Leith has an answer for anyone who doesn’t eat bacon (though even the most dedicated vegetarian often confesses to weakening at the thought of a crispy bacon roll). Replying to a request for fruit smoothies on the Greener Leith website he says:
“Don’t worry – it’s not just bacon rolls! We will have a supply of fresh juice and there’s veggie roll options too :)”
The commuters’ breakfast is from 7.30 – 9am on Tuesday 21 April
